Hi Sarah!

No, at Chinese schools teachers aren't allowed to beat the students.

Imagine what life at school would be like -

No one would like to go to school and the parents would be really worried about sending their kids there!

Just like it's not allowed at our schools here in Europe and the USA, it's not allowed in China.

Answer to Phillip's question

Hi Phillip!

At Chinese schools, students do wear school uniforms.
They usually look like track-suits (sports clothes) and the kids at school complain about them a lot =)

At our school (Luhe) we had three different colors - Green for the middle school, and blue and red for the high school.

In winter we got uniforms that were warmer and in the summer we got to wear short sleeves.
